Agricultural businesses need fast, reliable access to credit, but traditional funding systems are slow, unclear, and difficult to track.
Farmers often do not know:
When their loan is being processed
Whether they qualify
What stage their application is in
Who to contact for updates
Lack of visibility creates uncertainty and Agrifund was designed to solve this, by structuring agricultural financing into a transparent, trackable digital experience. The Product exist to give farm businesses clear access to credit facilities using Artificial Intelligence.

The Problem
Farmers had no visibility after submitting an application.
Once a farmer submitted a loan application, the process became invisible to them. They did not know which stage their application was in, whether they qualified, or who to contact. There was no feedback and no guidance on what to do next.
Loan officers handled the gap by responding to repeated status calls and clarification requests. This added to their workload and slowed down review cycles. The core issue was that the system gave no information to the people waiting on it.
Stakeholder and user research pointed to three specific problems:
No process visibility: Users could not see which stage their application was in after submission.
Unclear eligibility: Users did not know whether they qualified or what documents were required before applying.
No status updates: Getting an update required contacting the loan officer directly, every time.
Both sides of the process suffered. Farmers lost confidence in the system. Loan officers lost time to questions the product should have answered.
Smart loan recommendations and a repayment strategy for Farmers depending on their credit score
My Contribution
I owned the authentication flow and dashboard architecture
I worked as part of a product design team. My specific ownership covered two areas:
the end-to-end authentication flow and the information structure of the dashboard. Both areas required decisions about how the product communicates with users at critical moments.
Designed the full authentication flow including sign-up, OTP verification, password recovery, and all success and error states.
Structured the dashboard to show loan status, credit utilisation, and repayment timelines clearly and without unnecessary complexity.
Designed system states across every flow: success, pending, error, and empty states that reflect what actually happens in real use.
Worked with the product lead to refine interaction states, input validation logic, and edge cases throughout the product.
Translated stakeholder requirements into high-fidelity Figma interfaces, iterating based on feedback from research sessions.
The user can easily view their ongoing loans, Applied loans and Loan opportunities available to them
Solution
Agrifund transforms agricultural financing into a structured, transparent digital system built on three core shifts.
1. State-Driven Transparency
Loan processing is made visible through clearly defined stages — from submission to disbursement.
Each state triggers real-time updates and next-step guidance, eliminating uncertainty and reducing support dependency.
2. AI-Guided Eligibility
Before full application, users receive instant pre-qualification feedback, recommended loan amounts, and required documentation prompts.
This improves application quality and shortens review cycles.
3. Financial Control Dashboard
A centralized dashboard surfaces loan exposure, repayment timelines, credit utilization, and dynamic credit score updates.
This turns passive borrowers into informed decision-makers.

Core Flow —
Authentication
Authentication in Agrifund sets the psychological tone of the entire product.
Farmers entering the platform are often uncertain about eligibility and approval.
The authentication flow was designed to:
Minimize friction at first contact
Validate identity quickly
Establish system reliability immediately
Signal that the process is structured and guided
The flow includes:
OTP verification
Password reset
Success / error states
The goal was speed, clarity, and confirmation at every step.

Reflection
The most important work on this product happened in transition logic, feedback timing, and information hierarchy.
Those decisions determined whether a user understood what was happening or not.
Agricultural lending had no shortage of processes. What it lacked was a way to make those processes visible to the people going through them. Designing Agrifund meant deciding what information to show, when to show it, and how to present it so that a farmer could act on it without needing to call anyone.
From authentication to loan disbursement, each interaction was intentionally state-aware. Inputs validate in real time. Progress stages adjust dynamically.
This project shifted my perspective on financial products. They are not defined by features, but by how clearly they expose process which is letting users know where they are, what is happening, and what they need to do next . That work lives in the details of state design, not in the surface of the interface.
Designing trust is a skill that is engineered through structure in the user's journey!
